Save up to 80% in maintenance costs and achieve 99% uptime in operations

Data Overload is a common complaint we hear in the Manufacturing sector. As factories become smarter, and more focus is placed globally on higher productivity output with leaner input, you can get lost in all of the data points being presented to you. Being able to interpret your data correctly is key so you can make informed decisions.

At PEMAC we’ve listened to this and are adding more and more automated reporting Dashboards to PEMAC Assets – Dashboards designed to simplify your tasks and that have been requested by our customers.  PEMAC Assets objective is to deliver valuable information which enables you to lower repair costs, reduce downtime and, overall, optimise your Maintenance Operations. Match these Dashboards with our previously published article – Maintenance Metrics that matter– and you should be closer to developing an accurate Maintenance Strategy.

Our current suite of Dashboards and KPI reports is quite extensive, but allow you to choose the relevant information you need. You can also build Custom Reports within PEMAC Assets so you can view data in a specific manner to suit your requirements.

This article highlights some of the primary reports included in PEMAC Assets.

ASSET MANAGEMENT REPORTS –

These reports are key to any CMMS and built into PEMAC Assets. At the base of PEMAC Assets is a full Asset Register allowing you to track all assets and including additional information such as – Availability, Asset type, Critical Status, site or location. This basic, but required, information benefits from additional reports paired with it such as –

  • Asset Reliability Comparison
STOCK MANAGEMENT REPORTS –

Includes Stock Taking, Stock Listings, Valuations, Current and Projected Spare parts reports. Additional to these and new to PEMAC Assets is a wide suite of Purchasing Reports allowing you to keep track of Inventory and Suppliers such as  –

  • Purchase Order Detailed & Summary Costs by Supplier
  • Summary of Outstanding PO line items
  • Summary of Goods received
  • PO Analysis by Cost Centre
COST MANAGEMENT REPORTS –

Adding in Cost Management reports gives an insight into spend along with the sources of costs. Understanding the Assets that are costing more with additional breakdowns can help with building a new maintenance plan, or perhaps a new Asset investment altogether. Reports available in PEMAC Assets include –

  • Budget Cost Centre Summary and Detail
  • Projected cost of Asset
  • Maintenance Cost by Asset
MAINTENANCE WORKLOAD REPORTS –

These reports really enable you to plan and track all work orders filtered then to the data that you need to see. Overall they indicate the number of upcoming jobs, the priority, downtime, trades and time required. The Maintenance reports are valuable reports for planning required maintenance activities, tracking planned and unplanned work and allowing you to build a stronger Predictive Maintenance Plan. Included in these reports are –

  • Summary of projected Work Orders
  • Summary of outstanding Work Orders
  • Work Order Status Reports including average response times and closure times
  • Shift Log Reports
  • Calibration Test Reports

Consider all of the above reports within your own Operations and the invaluable information they supply you. Knowing the frequency & length of Asset breakdowns, the further costs associated with repairs and the time invested to fix the Asset using the correct resources enables a Predictive Maintenance plan to be developed, and then further optimised. The overall final cost benefit to the company from the improved production output can be substantial and a Win for the Maintenance Engineering Team.
